“Everything is Cake” – baker takes trend one step further with a realistic selfie cake

In the long summer of 2020 the “everything is cake” trend took the internet by storm as users posted videos cutting open what appeared to be everyday objects, only for them to be cake. It was like a surprise unboxing or something.

One popular Texas baker, Natalie Sideserf, decided to take realistic cake baking to the next level by creating an amazing cake sculpture from one of her selfies.

The videos, posted to Instagram and Youtube, certainly were unique and a head turner! Sideserf stands next to the sweet baked version of herself and then uses a giant knife to slide her own head open. Of course, it went viral and her longer Youtube video quickly got over 1 million views.
